Whole-Home Remodeling in Thousand Oaks
Serving 91360 · 91362 · 91320 and Westlake Village, Oak Park, Agoura Hills
Whole-home remodels in Thousand Oaks succeed when they start from a clear reading of what kind of house this is. The valley's tract eras each have a known playbook: the sixties ranches want opening up and re-servicing, the eighties two-storeys want their kitchens, baths and circulation brought forward a generation, and the custom houses in the hills usually want their original ideas properly finished. Applying the wrong playbook is the most expensive mistake available, and it is entirely avoidable at survey stage.
Real projects. Real prices.
73 finished remodels published with their final price — nothing hidden.
What 17 finished LA whole-home remodels actually cost: a median of $150k, in a range of $36k–$440k. Real final prices from our own job records, not estimates.
$150,000 A cobalt glass-tile backsplash with marble-look slab baths in brushed brass.
$237,000 Deep green tile floor-to-ceiling, a farmhouse sink, living space open to the patio.
$238,000 A walnut-fronted quartz island, arched openings, and sage-green stacked tile baths.
$250,000 White shaker cabinetry and veined quartz, with hex-mosaic walk-in showers.
$275,000 A broad quartz island, a curved staircase with iron balusters, marble-look baths.
$440,000 Stone-look tile bathrooms with freestanding tubs, under an exposed beam ceiling.
A whole house, matched to its era
Three eras, three strategies
A ranch rewards removing walls and rebuilding services; a two-storey tract rewards concentrated investment in the rooms that date fastest; a custom house rewards restraint and craftsmanship. Choosing the right approach for the house in front of us is the first and most valuable decision in the project.
Insulation and comfort in an inland valley
Older Conejo houses were built for a milder expectation than today's summers. A whole-house pass with the walls and ceilings open is the one economical opportunity to fix insulation, air sealing and mechanical sizing together, and the comfort difference is felt every single August.
Designing around the protected oaks
Native oaks are protected across the valley, and on many parcels one stands close enough to matter. Equipment routes, trenching, staging and any new footprint are planned around the tree and its root zone from the first drawing, which is far cheaper than redesigning after a review comment.
A large digital submittal, coordinated once
Whole-house drawings go to the city's Building Division electronically, with structural, mechanical, electrical and energy sheets that have to agree. Coordinating them properly before submission is what keeps a big project to a short review.
