Kitchen Remodeling in Calabasas
Serving 91302 and Agoura Hills, Woodland Hills, Hidden Hills
Calabasas kitchens are typically generous in size and no longer new. The work is rarely about finding room; it is about a layout designed for how people cooked when the house was built, and services that were sized for the same era.
Real projects. Real prices.
73 finished remodels published with their final price — nothing hidden.
What 27 finished LA kitchens actually cost: a median of $50k, in a range of $23k–$84k. Real final prices from our own job records, not estimates.
$25,000 White shaker cabinetry, white subway tile, and light quartz counters.
$41,000 Espresso shaker cabinetry, light quartz counters and a linear glass mosaic backsplash.
$50,000 Navy shaker lowers under white uppers, with a slate-tone tile backsplash and a wood ledge shelf.
$65,000 White uppers over grey shaker lowers with brass pulls, an apron sink and a broad quartz peninsula.
$72,000 White shaker cabinetry against a deep teal backsplash, with an island under a stainless hood.
$84,000 Warm grey shaker cabinetry with quartz counters, plus floating vanities in dark stone tile.
Kitchens in larger, ageing houses
Scale makes the systems question bigger
A large kitchen carries a larger appliance load. In a house of this age, establishing early whether the electrical service can take the intended package avoids the most common mid-project surprise here.
Working near a protected oak
If the work reaches the outside of the house and there is an oak nearby, the City's Oak Tree Ordinance is part of the picture — including encroachment into the protected zone around a tree, not only removal. Where equipment stands and where material is stockpiled become design decisions.
Deliveries up a hillside road
Cabinetry, slabs and appliances have to reach the house. On winding hillside approaches that constrains what can be delivered in one piece, which occasionally changes a specification — better known while choosing than on the morning it will not fit.
Islands the size of the room allows
Large kitchens tempt large islands, and an island that leaves less than comfortable clearance makes a big room work worse than a small one. Setting clearances before choosing a slab is the order that avoids regret.
