A great many Irvine houses were finished to the same specification as their neighbours. Interior design here is largely about giving a sound but anonymous house a point of view — through joinery, light and material choice rather than through structural change, which the house rarely needs.
Real projects. Real prices.
73 finished remodels published with their final price — nothing hidden.
What our finished LA work actually cost: 27 kitchens ran $23k–$84k, median $50k; 28 bathrooms $28k–$105k, median $38k; 17 whole-home remodels $36k–$440k, median $150k. Real final prices from our own job records, not estimates.
$28,000 Stacked white tile and a blue patterned floor, with brushed brass fittings and a round mirror.
$41,000 Espresso shaker cabinetry, light quartz counters and a linear glass mosaic backsplash.
$72,000 Honey-oak cabinetry replaced with white shaker fronts and a marble-look quartz island.
$105,000 Marble-veined slab walls, a frameless glass shower, and patterned tile floors.
$242,700 Structural work to open up the space, a vaulted ceiling, solid wood floors, kitchen and two baths.
$250,000 White shaker cabinetry and veined quartz, with hex-mosaic walk-in showers.
Giving a builder-standard house a point of view
Joinery does the heavy lifting
In a house that is structurally fine, built-in joinery is what changes both how it looks and how it functions. It is also what most distinguishes one otherwise identical plan from another.
Where the rules touch design
Interior work is rarely governed by an association. Anything altering the exterior can be. Establishing that early avoids designing something that then has to be unpicked.
